Elopements in Scotland

[ OVERVIEW ]

I can modify any elopement package to suit the vision and desires of each couple, but here you can find the basic structure of each:

Your bagpiper, Drew, in full kilt attire, will accompany you to your ceremony location with the evocative sound of his bagpipe.

Your celebrant, Danielle, will conduct a personal ceremony and perform traditional Celtic rituals such as tying the knot and drinking from the Quaich.

Once you’ve been joyfully pronounced husband and wife, whether symbolically or legally, you’ll celebrate your love to the stirring sound of the bagpipe.

You’ll have time to capture romantic, intimate portraits in your beautiful wedding setting with your photographer (me!) before returning to your accommodation.

Packages

Glencoe Elopement, Scottish Highlands

A Vow of Mist and Crags

Pledge your love in the wild, untamed beauty of Glencoe, where ancient mountains rise through drifting mist, and the glen whispers stories of centuries past.

Drew, in full kilt uniform, will lead you gently to your ceremony spot, the evocative sound of the bagpipe echoing through the valley, carried on the Highland breeze.

There, your celebrant Danielle will guide you through a personalised ceremony, honouring age-old Celtic rituals such as tying the knot and drinking from the quaich.

Once you’ve been pronounced husband and wife, the music will rise once more, the notes of the bagpipe weaving through the mountains as you pause to take it all in: this moment, this place, this beginning.

Afterwards, you’ll wander together through this cinematic landscape, capturing romantic, intimate portraits among sweeping valleys and rugged peaks, before returning to your accommodation, wrapped in the magic of it all.

Investment: £3,299 (pricing for 2026)

Elopement Wedding in Cairngorms National Park

A Promise of Pines and Water

Exchange your vows in the heart of the Cairngorms, beside the tranquil waters of a Highland loch, where the last Caledonian pine forest in the UK stretches around you.

Bagpiper Drew will accompany you to your ceremony location with evocative tunes, haunting notes drifting through the trees and echoing softly across the loch.

Your celebrant, Danielle, will honour Celtic rituals such as tying the knot and sharing a drink from the quaich, creating a personalised yet traditional ceremony.

Once you’ve been joyfully pronounced husband and wife, you will wander together through this ancient Caledonian forest, capturing intimate, romantic portraits among millennial trees and along the water’s edge, before making your way back to your accommodation, wrapped in your own quiet world.

Investment: £3,349 (pricing for 2026)

Intimate Wedding on the Scottish Highlands’ West Coast

A Haven of Wind and Silence

Exchange your vows by ancient ruins, where land and sea meet beneath vast northern skies. On calm days, the water lies like glass, reflecting a quiet, breathtaking beauty; when the clouds gather, the landscape deepens into something wilder, more elemental, shaped by forces beyond our control.

Your bagpiper, Drew, in full Highland attire, will guide you to your ceremony spot as the sound of bagpipes drifts across the shoreline.

There, your celebrant Danielle will lead a personalised ceremony, weaving in meaningful Celtic traditions such as handfasting and sharing the quaich.

Afterwards, as the music rises once more, you’ll pause together, surrounded by shifting light, sea air, and the hush of the hills, before wandering off to capture a few intimate portraits in this atmospheric, ever-changing place.

Investment: £3,649 (pricing for 2026)

Elopement Wedding on the East Coast of Scotland

A Vow of Salt and Stone

Begin your journey in a windswept corner of northeast Scotland, where a castle stands sentinel over a rugged coastline. The salty breeze carries whispers of centuries past, perfect for those who dream in romantic tales.

Drew’s notes will guide you to your ceremony location, as the soulful strains of his bagpipe rise and fall with the wind, blending with the rhythm of the waves and the wild beauty around you.

Your celebrant, Danielle, will perform a personalised ceremony and Celtic rituals such as tying the knot and sharing a drink from the quaich.

Steal a moment together to capture intimate, romantic portraits along the rocky shore, while the haunting sound of the bagpipe mingles with the crashing waves.

Full-day Elopement Adventure in Skye

A Tale of Wild and Wonder

Exchange your vows by a cascading waterfall on Isle of Skye, where the rush of water and the sound of bagpipes create a setting that feels both intimate and untamed.

After your ceremony, set off to explore the Isle of Skye, visiting some of its most iconic and awe-inspiring locations. You’ll travel in your own hire car, giving you the freedom to move at your own pace while I guide you to breathtaking spots along the way.

If you’d prefer something more active, the afternoon can be tailored into a sports-led adventure or a scenic hike through Skye’s dramatic terrain. I’m capable of and fully equipped to accompany you on more rugged routes, ensuring both a safe and unforgettable experience.

Alternatively, you might choose to journey along sections of the North Coast 500, taking in sweeping coastal views and hidden gems along the route.

For this package, full-day photography is included.

Investment: £4,799 (pricing for 2026)

This experience is designed for couples who crave the outdoors and want their elopement to feel like a true adventure. The itinerary can be shaped as a full immersive day, or thoughtfully spread across two days for a more relaxed pace.

Photography coverage is focused on the primary elopement day, which is fully documented to create a complete and intentional story of your ceremony and key moments.

The second day (if included in the itinerary) is dedicated to travel, exploration, and a slower experience for you alone, without photography coverage.

[ HIGHLIGHTS ]

Personally vetted locations

I personally hiked these locations high and low to find the perfect wedding spots, working out logistics for a true seamless day.

Fully bespoke

Need to add, remove, or change some elements of your packages? No problem! Your elopement should reflect your desires and be fully tailored to your vision.

Book-inspired

I poured my love (obsession) for romance and fantasy books into these packages. All of them have been designed to create a romantic, wild-hearted, timeless atmosphere, while keeping things simple and straghtforward for you

Environmentally friendly

As part of Celebrants Scotland, your celebrant Danielle contributes to a meaningful initiative: for every couple she marries, the organisation plants a tree each year. This gesture not only expresses gratitude but also gives back to the environment.

Similarly, Elope Easy strives to safeguard the environment by taking thoughtful measures, such as avoiding printing entirely, carpooling to minimise fuel consumption and pollution, and picking up litter whenever encountering a dirty area.

Leah & Rui

We honestly could not have asked for a better wedding photographer. From start to finish, she was absolutely fantastic. Professional, calm, and incredibly easy to work with, she made us feel completely comfortable throughout the whole day.

She captured every moment so naturally and beautifully, from the big emotional moments to the small details we would otherwise have missed. The photos perfectly reflect the atmosphere of the day and bring back all the emotions every time we look at them.

Beyond her talent, she was simply a pleasure to have around. Many of our guests commented on how friendly and unobtrusive she was while still managing to capture everything.

We are genuinely so grateful and would recommend her to anyone looking for someone talented, reliable, and passionate about what they do. Thank you for giving us memories we’ll cherish forever.

Thank you, Isa

Isabella is an amazing wedding photographer! Super skilled, professional, and creative! She’s full of great ideas for photos, and - what I think really makes a difference- she knows how to make you feel comfortable so every shot looks as natural as possible. She also has a knack for finding unique, stunning locations and knows how to use natural light in the most incredible way. Trust her, you won’t regret it and your wedding photos'll be amazing!

Zoe & Morgan

We worked with Isa for a post-wedding photoshoot a few weeks ago and were really impressed with the whole experience! From the start, she made us feel at ease and was really friendly, present and engaging- just all round lovely to be around! The quality of the photos were absolutely brilliant- I knew they’d be good but I genuinely was blown away by how lovely they turned out! I would highly recommend her to all couples looking to book a photographer, whether it’s for their elopement or for post-wedding photos!!

Your Guide

Isabella

Ciao! I’m Isabella, planner, photographer, adventurer at heart and storyteller.

I believe life is an adventure, and my work reflects my love for the outdoors, intimate moments and the humans who share them. I travel every time I can, and capture humanity along the way.

Getting to know each couple is my favourite part. My photography is romantic, spontaneous, and full of real laughs, candid expressions and meaningful moments. On your day, I am a calming and unobtrusive presence, so you can relax and have fun.

I specialise in elopements and work mainly in Scotland, though I’ll follow your story anywhere. In my free time, you will find me doing sports outdoors, or immersed in a romantasy book indoors.

My love for romance and fantasy books has inspired me to become an elopement photographer, and I strive to recreate that feeling of enchantment and fervent love in my photographs.

BAGPIPER

I’ve been piping for over 50 years and was Pipe Major of Grampian Police Pipe Band for 15 years.

I believe that your special day deserves nothing less than a fully prepared professional performance, presented to the highest musical standard.

The haunting sound of the Great Highland Bagpipe add a wonderful touch of tradition, romanticism and a magical musical memory to your special day....

Common Questions

  • Scotland’s weather is part of the experience, and I encourage couples to embrace it as it often adds atmosphere, emotion, and authenticity to your images. I always come prepared with practical options such as umbrellas and guidance on appropriate clothing.

If conditions are likely to impact safety or access, we can discuss a Plan B. Indoor alternatives can be arranged where needed, though these may require pre-booking and additional costs.

  • Of course. I recommend bringing no more than 10 guests, to ensure the spontaneity and flexibility elopements are known for.

If you are travelling from abroad, allow more time to ensure visa and further documents are in place.

  • If the weather conditions are safe to do so, I’d love to capture your adventurous elopement. I am an expert hiker and skier and I’ll gladly follow you wherever the adventure takes you.

  • Absolutely yes! I love animals and they tend to be the stars in the photos… as you can imagine ;)
