The use of artificial lighting may be restricted or prohibited. The photographing of parts or even all of the ceremony may be restricted or prohibited.
e) Event Coverage
For a wedding or other event booking, we shall endeavour to capture all the moments throughout the day as they occur. However, because of the fluid nature of the event, some moments might not be recorded, or not recorded for logistical reasons.
f) Client’s Photograph List
Where The Client provides a list of photographs to be taken, it is incumbent upon The Client to ensure the list is in an order that is logical and manageable. Clients are advised to discuss its feasibility with the photographer. Please note that each combination (family of the bride only, family of the groom only, parents only, etc.) takes about 2–3 minutes to be set up. We will follow the list “as is” without deviation. We may take additional photographs once the list has been completed. Clients are advised to think carefully about any photograph list.
g) Alterations by The Client

2.In relation to vendors booked through us: Elope Easy arranges services with third-party vendors on behalf of the Client. The Client shall contract with and pay third-party vendors directly, and the Wedding Planner shall not receive, hold, or transfer funds on behalf of the Client or any vendor, nor shall the Wedding Planner receive any commission in connection with such arrangements.. Should a vendor be unable to accommodate alterations or cancel, we will make reasonable efforts to assist The Client in sourcing a replacement, but we are not liable for any failure, breach, or non-performance by the vendor. Our liability is limited to the planning and coordination services we provide directly, and to the extent covered by our Superscript professional indemnity and public liability insurance.

Due to a variety of lighting conditions and the limitations of digital sensors, some colours may alter throughout a set of photographs. Certain colours may not reproduce exactly in print.
i) Printing Limitations
It is understood that all photographic printing is undertaken within the technical limitations of the process and that colours may not be identical over the whole range of colours within a subject. Prints made at different times or in different sizes may be variable in colour balance.
j) Computer Monitor Limitations

Below is a breakdown of the available service packages, including what’s included and important limitations of responsibility.
Our website and services cannot replace or substitute for the expertise of trained professionals in fields such as financial, medical, psychological, therapeutic, or legal matters.
Services are delivered with reasonable care and skill in line with UK consumer law. Any request falling outside the agreed package may incur additional charges. Deposits are non-refundable and secure your date: remaining payments must be made according to the agreed schedule. Failure to pay may result in suspension of services until settlement.
The Client is responsible for providing accurate and timely information, confirming all vendor terms directly, and ensuring all legal and logistical requirements are met. Vendors are not subcontractors of Elope Easy, and the underlying contract remains between the Client and the vendor. Elope Easy cannot be held liable for delays, errors, or issues caused by third-party vendors or the Client’s own actions.
In the event of cancellation, fees already paid (excluding deposits) may be refunded at our discretion, depending on notice given and work already completed. In the case of postponement, we will make reasonable efforts to transfer services to the new date, subject to availability and potential additional costs.
Insurance: Elope Easy holds professional indemnity, equipment, and public liability insurance through Superscript, covering both planning and photography services. This insurance protects our business against certain risks if we are negligent, but it does not cover or make us liable for a vendor’s breach of contract, cancellation, or non-performance. Clients remain responsible for securing their own event or wedding insurance to cover risks such as vendor failure, cancellations, or unforeseen circumstances.

6.4 SERVICES DESCRIPTIONS AND LIMITATIONS
a) Informal Translation and Interpretation Services - Elope Easy may provide informal translation or interpretation services to assist communication between the Client and Italian-speaking vendors or third parties. This may be in person, by phone, or in writing, and is offered to reduce the risk of misunderstandings. Please note:
We act solely as informal interpreters and do not hold official certification.
We are not liable for any errors, disputes, cancellations, unsatisfactory services, breach of contract, or damages resulting from third-party actions, services, or communication errors.
The Client is responsible for reviewing and agreeing to each vendor's Terms & Conditions.
b) List of Vendors, Celebrants and First Contact Support - We may provide lists of recommended vendors, celebrants, and locations; initiate initial contact or inquiries; and identify suitable options. The contract for goods or services is directly between you and the vendor. Vendors are not subcontractors of Elope Easy, and we are not liable for their performance, cancellation, or breach of contract.
c) Location Scouting- We will research locations and permit requirements for your elopement, engagement, or happily ever after session. Where appropriate (e.g., unfamiliar or remote areas), our team may conduct in-person scouting to assess accessibility, terrain, travel times, and safety, and to evaluate suitability for photography or ceremony logistics. Scouting is typically included in selected packages. Please note:
We cannot guarantee exclusive access to, or the availability of, public or non-reservable locations.
We will advise to the best of our ability on known risks but assume no liability for injuries, accidents, or unforeseen conditions (see Sections 11 & 12 on health and safety).
d) Legal and Paperwork Guidance- We provide general support and non-legal guidance on marriage paperwork and processes, including: answering questions on form fields, clarifying required documents, interpreting Italian documents, and identifying appropriate contacts (registrars, local offices, etc.) for formal queries. Please note:
Our guidance does not replace official legal advice or consultation with government authorities. This applies also to any guide published on www.elope-easy.co.uk.
We are not liable for incomplete, missing, incorrect, or late documentation.
The Client is responsible for confirming legal requirements with the appropriate authorities and ensuring documents are present on the wedding day (unless otherwise stated by the registrar or church minister).
e) Timeline Planning- As part of your planning process, Elope Easy will prepare a suggested wedding day timeline, provided in a format of our choice (e.g., Word document, Excel sheet, or styled PDF). Please note:
The timeline is a flexible guide and may be edited upon request.
Once vendors, venues, and activities are booked, changes may not be possible without additional fees or restrictions from those vendors. The Client must confirm directly with vendors and notify us of any changes.
Elope Easy is not responsible for changes, cancellations, or delays caused by third-party vendors.
Any additional activities requested spontaneously on the day are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed, though we will endeavour to support the Client’s wishes wherever possible.
f) Communication and Support Access- we are committed to staying accessible throughout your planning process. While we describe our communication style as “unlimited,” this is subject to the following terms:
We respond to emails and messages Monday to Friday, between 09:00 AM and 4:00 PM (BST).
You are welcome to call within these hours. For calls outside of these hours, please send a text or email to schedule a time.
We strive to respond as promptly as possible, but turnaround times may vary depending on workload.
We may respond out of working hours, but that is solely to our discretion and dependent on the urgency of the matter.
We understand some matters may require urgent actions: our team will do everything they can do support the Client in this sense.
For Package 1 (All-in-One Planning + Photography), communications and ongoing support cover both photography-related matters and planning-related matters. Planning support includes, but is not limited to: vendor selection, estimating costs, budget management (whtout handling money), liaising with and coordinating vendors, clarifying details, and timeline management.
For all other packages, communications and ongoing support cover photography-related matters only. If the Client wishes to receive planning support or vendor coordination services, they must upgrade to Package 1, and additional costs will apply.
g) Client Responsibility- The Client is responsible for:
Communicating promptly if a vendor change is required. A revised quote will be issued with updated vendor details, services, and costs.
Confirming all vendor policies and terms directly, even where we have provided clarification in advance. Proceeding with a vendor signifies acceptance of their policies and terms.
Conducting their own research prior to making payments or commitments.
Managing personal finances and agreements directly with vendors.
h) Product (such as online galleries and albums)’s terms and conditions are outlined in sections 18,19,20,21,22, 23.
i) Vendor or Venue Cancellation : In the event that a vendor, supplier, or venue cancels, fails to deliver, or otherwise breaches their obligations, Elope Easy will use reasonable efforts to assist the Client in sourcing suitable alternatives within the available budget and timeframe. However, we cannot guarantee availability, suitability, or pricing of any replacement. Any additional costs incurred in securing replacement vendors, suppliers, or venues remain the responsibility of the Client.
Elope Easy is not liable for the acts, omissions, cancellations, or non-performance of any third-party vendor or venue, nor for any resulting losses, inconvenience, emotional distress, or additional expenses. Any refunds due from a vendor, supplier, or venue are the responsibility of that third party: Elope Easy will assist in pursuing such refunds where possible but shall not be financially responsible for sums owed by third parties.
Our Superscript insurance policies (professional indemnity, equipment, and public liability) protect against negligence and certain business risks but do not extend to third-party non-performance. Clients are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive wedding or event insurance to cover cancellations, postponements, or losses arising from vendor or venue failure
7. PRICES
a) All services and optional extras specified in this contract and paid for in full before the wedding are supplied at the prices ruling on the date of signing of the contract. Optional extras (such as, for example, package add-ons or additional albums) not paid for in full before the wedding are supplied at the prices ruling at the time of receipt of the order.
b) To book our services, the Client must provide accurate and complete information about their event and number of guests.
c) Except as otherwise provided in the Agreement, all monetary amounts referred to in the Agreement are in GBP.
d) In the case of access fees charged by some venues, and dispatch of optional extras such as prints, discs, additional albums, and other products, the Client will be liable to pay any additional expenses incurred by Elope Easy that are not already included within the contract price. Where such expenses relate to vendors, the Client remains directly responsible for the vendor’s terms.
8. PAYMENTS
a) For Package 1, a paid booking fee of £400, along with a completed contract, will confirm your booking. For Packages 2–6, a paid booking fee of 25 percent, along with a completed contract, will confirm your booking. The booking fee forms part of the total cost of your Package and is deducted when calculating the final balance due.
Once the Client has confirmed they want to work with us and the date, they have 5 days to pay the booking fee. In other words, the booking fee is payable within 5 working days from the date of booking. We will decline any other enquiries for the event date upon receiving this fee.
The Client will be sent one reminder to pay the booking fee. After this reminder, the reservation will be automatically removed, and the date will become open for further bookings.
You have the right to cancel within 7 days after you have paid the booking fee. This will also cancel this contract and all future obligations between Elope Easy and the Client and the booking fee will be fully refunded within 5 working days, minus administration costs (sending invoices, contracts, merchant account fees, time invested, etc).
A booking fee is payable by the Client within 5 days from receiving the Agreement. The Client will be sent one reminder to pay the booking fee. After this reminder, the reservation will be automatically removed, and the date will become open for further bookings.
For the remaining amount (the “Balance”), Elope Easy will invoice the Client 6 weeks prior the wedding date, with outstanding balance to be paid no later than 4 weeks prior the wedding date.
The payment methods will be communicated during the booking process.
Travel expenses will always be specified in the contract summary and covered by the booking fee unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing.
The Booking Fee above mentioned covers only Elope Easy services. Any funds required to confirm vendors must also be paid by the Client directly to the vendor, according to the vendors’ timeframe. Likewise, the rules above mentioned regarding the Balance apply only to the Contractor’s services, and any vendor’s balance should be cleared in the modalities and timeframes indicated by the vendors at the time of booking. The Contractor will help the Client have a clear understanding on who to pay when by providing a timeline of payments due.
b) For services that have an optional add-on, the total is calculated with the add-on as well. The booking fee still forms part of the total cost of your Package, and is deducted when calculating the final balance due. (For example, a package costs £1000 and you ask for an optional add-on of £200: the total to pay will be £1200, and the 25% booking fee will be calculated on £1200, so you will pay a booking fee of £300, and a balance of £900).
If the add-on is added after the booking fee has been paid, its value will be added to the final balance yet to be paid (example: you secured your 25% booking fee of £250 on a package costing £1000, then you decide you want the add-on of £200: your balance will be £950).
c) We will send out final invoices by email 6 weeks prior to your wedding date.
d) It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure payment for any outstanding balance is paid in full no later than 4 weeks prior to the contracted date. For Package 4 (see section 6), the outstanding balance has to be paid in full no later than 2 weeks prior to the contracted date. For Package 4, a deferred payment plan is not available.
e) If you do not request a deferred payment plan, failure to pay 4 weeks before the date of your wedding will be deemed a breach of contract and result in Elope Easy not attending your wedding.
f) Please note that there is the option to request 1 complimentary album, either digital or printed. Please note that if you do wish to receive your complimentary album, you are advised to do so as soon as possible, as after 6 months, we cannot guarantee the digital files will still be available.
g) All additional invoices resulting from additions ordered by the Client must be paid for in full on ordering. This includes extra shooting days and related travel expenses, add-ons, extra services, extra albums or products, special editing and rendering of images, high-resolution long-term galleries, and any other services ordered after the event. Title to all goods, including but not limited to prints, wedding albums and other products or additional extras remains with Elope Easy until paid for in full by the Client. Until then, access to the wedding gallery will not be granted.
h) A deferred payment option is available if required. Under this option you may choose to defer payment of the balance until a maximum of three months after the wedding date, or to pay the balance in three instalments. Please, communicate this at the time of booking.
i) Interest payable on any overdue amounts is charged at an annual rate of 15%, calculated on a simple interest basis (not compounded). The charge will accrue monthly at 1.25% of the outstanding balance until paid in full.
This service charge covers the extra administration in sending out reminders and the financial loss Elope Easy may incur as a result of the invoice not being paid.
9. COMPLAINTS
Any complaints must be received in writing within seven (7) days of receipt of services provided or products purchased (including digital products).
Where the complaint is about a product then a period of 14 days is required for inspection of the product. The Client must return the product to us, in the packaging it was sent in. The Client has to pay the return postage.
What This Means
You have the right to complain and the right for that complaint to be resolved.
10. LIABILITY FOR DIGITAL FILES AND PRODUCTS
a) The digital files shall remain the property of Elope Easy and shall be kept by them for not less than 6 months from the wedding date at one site.
b) Should digital files be lost, damaged or destroyed, our liability shall be limited to a refund of fees paid for our services, but shall not include a refund for any goods already supplied or capable of supply at a quality deemed acceptable by us. No refund will be due for any digital files lost, damaged, or destroyed after 6 months from the date of the wedding.
This limitation applies only to services directly provided by Elope Easy. It does not extend to vendor services, for which the Client contracts directly.
c) Please download your photographs and store them safely and securely. After 6 months we cannot guarantee they will still be available. You are strongly advised to download your wedding photographs as soon as you receive them.
d) All digital unedited (known as RAW) files will be deleted 3 months after the date of the wedding. If you require copies of these files you may purchase them at the prevailing price indicated in Section 26.
e) If you wish to receive your complimentary album, you are advised to request it as soon as possible, as after 6 months, we cannot guarantee the digital files will still be available. If requested, the album, as well as any additional extras ordered, will be sent by standard Royal Mail to the last known address of the Client. Please make sure you provide the correct address. Additional reproduction, administration and postage charges of £100 will apply if you do not inform Elope Easy of your change of address, or if you lose your copy of your wedding photographs.
What This Means
Shit happens. This covers me in case of that happening! If shit happens to you and you lose your wedding photographs then there is an admin fee of £100 for me to upload them again, assuming that I have a working copy.
11. HEALTH AND SAFETY
a) Elope Easy is committed to conducting all services with professionalism and regard for safety. However, by engaging our services, the Client and their guests acknowledge and accept that elopement photography and the associated activities may involve travel to remote or natural environments and/or participation in potentially hazardous activities (including but not limited to hiking, skiing, snowboarding, or similar). The Client and their guests understand and agree that participation in such activities is entirely voluntary and at their own risk.
b) We may suggest suitable and reasonable setups for photographs to the Client, and it is assumed the Client accepts liability, except in cases of injury or death, for those photographs should the Client agree to our request.
c) c) Elope Easy is not responsible for the actions, safety, conduct, or wellbeing of the Client, their guests, or any third parties at any time during the planning or execution of the elopement or engagement event. The final decision regarding location and activities always rests with the Client.
d) While we take reasonable steps to mitigate risks within our control, Elope Easy accepts no liability for personal injury, loss, accident, or damage to property, however caused, whether before, during, or after the elopement. It is the Client’s responsibility to take care of and look after their own personal effects and belongings. The Photographer does not accept liability for items left with them for any reason. Any items left with the Photographer are left entirely at the Client’s own risk. The Photographer does not accept any consequential loss for items left in their care. Clients are advised to carry their own travel and activity insurance to cover such events.
e) Elope Easy reserves the right to suspend or terminate services immediately, without liability, in circumstances where we reasonably believe our team’s safety is at risk. This includes threatening or abusive behaviour or equipment damage by the Client, guests, or any third party. Where we feel unsafe, personally uncomfortable, or assess the risk to be unacceptable, we will inform the Client and give reasonable time for the issues to be resolved. If the issues are not resolved, we reserve the right to leave immediately without further notice.
f) The Client will advise any other venues that they are responsible for our team’s health and safety. Our team will take all reasonable and sensible precautions whilst on the premises of other suppliers, venues, or locations.
12. FORCE MAJEURE
a) The due performance of the contract is subject to alteration or cancellation by Elope Easy owing to any cause beyond our reasonable control including, but not limited to, natural disasters (e.g. floods, landslides, wildfires), epidemic, pandemic, advice or directives from emergency services, government, or local authorities (including but not limited to measures such as ‘lockdown’, ‘social distancing’), prevailing weather conditions, sudden illness/injury/victim of crime, or other force majeure events.
With specific regards to weather conditions, the Contractor will make all reasonable and safe attempts to attend your wedding, as well as planning a sheltered location B, wherever possible. However, the Contractor will take the advice of Police and Emergency Services into consideration. The Contractor will provide as much notice as reasonably possible in such an event.
b) Elope Easy will attempt to accommodate reasonable date changes for the Client under Section 12a above, and Clients are advised to liaise with us in the first instance should they require a date change by phoning or emailing us directly.
c) We may contact other photographers or planning assistants in the unlikely event that we are not able to attend your booking due to clause 12a. However, it may prove difficult or impossible to find a skilled replacement at short notice or at the same price.
13. CANCELLATION FEES, DATE AND PACKAGE CHANGES
The Client(s) have the option to cancel within 7 days from the date of booking, even if the booking fee has been paid. After that 14-day period, no refunds will be given.
a) Should the Client(s) cancel a booking after the 14-day period, the booking fee cannot be refunded. In addition, the following reasonable cancellation charges will apply, notwithstanding Section 12:
Less than 28 working days prior to the wedding date stated: 65% of balance outstanding.
29–84 working days prior to the wedding date stated: 35% of balance outstanding.
85+ working days prior to the wedding date stated: 0% of balance outstanding.
The booking fee represents the fixed costs for Elope Easy in securing the booking. The cancellation charges are a genuine pre-estimate of the loss of profit and administration costs that result from cancellation.
If the Client cancels, any vendor cancellation policies and charges also apply, and these are the responsibility of the Client. Elope Easy is not liable for vendor fees or losses resulting from Client cancellation.
All notice to cancel must be given as soon as possible. A telephone call is acceptable to inform our team urgently; however, this must always be confirmed in writing via email.
Mobile Number: 0044 7546 970528
A working day is defined as Monday – Friday.
b) The Client may change the date booked earlier, provided that the new date is not already reserved. Additional charges may apply at the sole discretion of Elope Easy, for example to cover accommodation or flight changes. Any such change requires written consent. Please note: where vendors are already booked, their own availability and rescheduling terms will apply. Elope Easy acts only as a coordinator in securing vendors on the Client’s behalf and is not liable for any vendor’s inability to accommodate a new date.
c) The Client may upgrade or downgrade any package at any time. The add-on amount will be added to the same invoice as the due balance, and the updated total must be paid no later than four weeks before the wedding day. No additional charges apply, and written consent is required. Should the Client wish to downgrade Package 1 (“all-in-one”)+ Package 5 (“engagement photoshoot”) to Package 1 only, the add-on price of Package 5 will be deducted from the due balance. Failure to communicate an upgrade or downgrade request may result in the originally agreed package being delivered as planned, with no entitlement to a refund, price adjustment, or rescheduling. Please note: where a package change affects vendor services, vendor availability and cancellation terms will apply separately.
What This Means
You can cancel within 7 days of booking and receive your booking fee back. After 7 days, the booking fee is non-refundable, and depending on how close to the wedding date you cancel, a percentage of the outstanding balance will also be due. This protects us from loss of income once we have secured your date and started work. If you cancel, you are also responsible for any vendor cancellation fees, as they are engaged on your behalf.
14. GOVERNING LAW
a) Any contract made between Elope Easy and the Client shall in all respects be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of Scotland, and the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
b) The Client agrees to the Terms and Conditions of this contract once the booking fee has been paid.
c) There is no legal requirement for the Client to sign and return this contract once the booking fee has been paid.
d) In the case of working in a destination outside the UK, our team will adhere to the local laws of that country. Any dispute arising in connection with services provided abroad will nevertheless be resolved under UK law. Please note: where services are delivered by vendors in another country, the vendor’s own terms, conditions, and local laws will apply, and Elope Easy accepts no liability for their performance.
