ELOPEMENT MEANING
ELOPE
/ɪˈləʊp/ verb
Run away in order to get married. From Anglo-Norman French aloper, perhaps related to leap.
Some do it secretly, some invite a restricted amount of guests.
However your elopement or micro-wedding will look like, it’s a day all about you, that allows you to escape the pressure of a traditional wedding and prefer adventure, travel and no rules, and I can’t wait to be a part of it!
HOW DO ELOPEMENTS LOOK LIKE?
There’s no one way to elope and that’s the beauty of it. Your day is built entirely around you. Think of it as a mix of meaningful moments, your favorite activities, and stunning backdrops.
FOR EXAMPLE …
8 am wake up in your lovely yurt and get ready. Photos of your morning prep can be included
10 am have a walk on the beach, and meet with the celebrant and witnesses. Get married surrounded by the greenery
12 pm set a fancy table among the trees and enjoy a fairytale-like picnic
3pm head to the local farm and get ready for your horse riding adventure
6pm head back to the yurt and enjoy a peaceful sauna
8pm time for your private chef’s special dinner! To be followed by stargazing by the bonfire

I accept last minute bookings (like that time I planned a small wedding in little over 6 weeks!) and work primarily in Scotland and Italy.

PLANNING PACKAGE: HOW DOES IT WORK?
My portfolio aims at presenting affordable elopement solutions with photography included. As your planner, my goal is to manage your budget with intention, so that everything you spend pays off in an emotional way.
But whay will your wedding cost? The truth is, I don’t know yet. What I can tell you is, your wedding will cost whatever it needs to cost (within budget) to give you the experience that you want.
Your wedding will be designed precisely to your desires, and its cost will be aligned with the resources we need to bring our vision to life.
In other terms, the final cost is shaped by your preferences; some couples prefer to allocate more of their budget in a vendor than another, or in activities rather than a fancy dinner at a restaurant.
Ultimately, I want to produce your vision, and prioritise what matters to you, so that every coin you spend is in line with your expectations.
At the end of your wedding day, I want you to look at each other and say, “every single pence we spent was worth it, and I couldn’t have wanted anything different”.
PROCESS
INITIAL CALL- We schedule a free video call to talk about your dream day and ideas, and you decide if we are a good match
CHECKLIST- Once the booking fee is paid, you will receive a detailed and fun checklist to shape your vision to the T
VENDORS- I will put you in touch with my trusted vendors, matching you with the most appropriate for your needs. I know all of them personally and trust them wholeheartedly. If you are eloping to Italy, I can translate :)
TIMELINE AND PLANNING- You relax, I handle this. From creating sample timelines for your day to make the logistics work, I will build a flexible plan that brings your vision to life
CALLS- Regular chats and support throughout, so we can have a personal and useful back and forth on how the elopement is shaping up, and I can make adjustments based on your opinions.
ENGAGEMENT PHOTOSHOOT- If you decide to add it to your package, we will organise an engagement photoshoot the day before the wedding
WEDDING DAY- I will be there morning to evening to coordinate vendors, keep an eye on the watch, and photograph your elopement, so you can just be present and soak it all in!

Of course, it’s your wedding! I would recommend up to 20 people, counting you two. Remember to consider their needs and mobility issues too before eloping on top of, say, the Dolomites!
