Every stage of planning your proposal should be creative, exciting and fun, no matter how far the destination.

The process is straightforward: We’ll start with a chat about your story and vision (where are you planning on doing the proposal, is it a surprise photoshoot or not...) and pick the best date!

If needed and within reasonable reach, I can go scout the location and send you videos.

On your proposal day, you get a 2–4-hour photography session, designed to feel relaxed and fun. You’ll receive gentle direction so you can enjoy the moment and never feel like you are posing, while still getting lovely and genuine photos.

You’ll receive a high-resolution gallery with full download and printing rights to relive your engagement anytime.

IS IT GOING TO BE AWKWARD?

You will probably feel a little nervous or uncomfortable before the session, and that’s normal! Most of us aren’t used to being in front of the camera. That’s why my engagement shoots are relaxed and slow-paced, with plenty of gentle direction to help you feel confident and look your best.

There’s no strict end time, so you can ease into it without pressure. It’s all about enjoying a fun, intimate experience with someone you love.

After the shoot, you’ll receive a beautiful digital gallery with full download and printing rights, ready to relive the moment anytime.

ENGAGEMENT PROPOSAL WHAT TO WEAR

1.Mix it up

When shooting in two locations, it’s nice to create some contrast. Say for example we start the photo shoot in your home and end the session in your favourite spot, perhaps a natural area you love, or the cafe of your first date. You could have a casual outfit to match the home-y vibe and then dress up to go out. In general, consider dressing up- after all, is your proposal day!

2. Avoid matching colours

With the current fashion trends, I’d recommend to wear complementary colours or some closely related. Neutral and pastel colors are always a win in every environment- think for example a camel brown in a urban setting or a delicate and airy pink dress in the middle of a grove. Or a peach dress for you and a two-shades-darker suit for your partner. If you are unsure how to properly align your outfits, best to ask your photographer.

3. Patterns

But if you want to wear a pattern, it’s very important to choose who between you will be wearing it, and who will go for solid colors. If you do go for a pattern, make sure it’s not too extravagant or flashy- you don’t want overly busy patterns to clash with your partner’s style, or distract from the background.

4. Skin type

Remember that the colors you choose should flatter and enhance your skin color and natural tones. You can also do an online test to check what colours liven up your skin tone and make your eyes pop.

5. Be yourself

At the end of the day, that’s the most important thing. If you are an extravagant person, and prefer wild flashy motifs because they’re more “you”, just be yourself and wear what makes you feel comfortable.
